Construction Services: Automated Gate for Water Flow Control and Storage
SCOPE OF SERVICES
Harry Pepper provided construction services for a Stormwater Treatment Area that included land clearing, canal excavation, levee construction and degrading of existing roads. This project also included the construction of 11 automated gated structures to control flow and storage of water as well as a power grit supplied by on site generators. All structures as well as the generators are operated and monitored by remote telemetry. As part of this project a 210' concrete bridge was built following FDOT specifications. The bridge is comprised of concrete pile supports with post-tensioned concrete planks and poured-in-place concrete topping.
