SCOPE OF SERVICES
The work includes Phase I and Phase II. Phase I of the work is construction of a new membrane treatment facility that includes a new concrete and masonry building. The facility houses four (4) membrane filtration skids with the capability of 2 MGD and with future expansion capabilities for three (3) more skids to provide a total of 3.5 MGD capacity. Facility also includes a sulfuric acid and anti-scalant system, a permeate, and a cleaning solution system complete with tanks and pumps. The new structure includes a temperature controlled electrical room complete with a plant instrumentation control panel and an acid storage room. The project also includes a 26’ deep plant drain pump station with 8” piping that discharges flow to the adjacent wastewater treatment plant. Facility also includes two tray aerators, a new chemical application vault equipped with a chemical injection chamber and with a static mixer. Work includes electrical, instrumentation HVAC, plumbing, structural, and civil support features and integration into the existing facilities and systems as outlined in the drawings and specifications. Water treatment piping, electrical and controls associated with the installation of two new motorized valves at each of three wells. Phase II includes demolition of the old treatment plant facilities.
