SCOPE OF SERVICES

This Design-Build procurement included Hurricane Wilma Repairs to 196 Bachelor Officers' Quarters (BOQ) and Family Housing Units. The repairs included: mold remediation, demolition, millwork, flooring, drywall, painting, finish carpentry, doors, hardware, HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing systems and flooring. The Quality Control Manager was experienced and implemented the quality control plan very well. Experienced subcontractors were utilized to perform a majority of the work. HPA utilized two internal construction teams to promote friendly competition, and as a result, speed the construction process. Additional contract work was issued for Owner-requested changes as a result of finishing the base bid work ahead of schedule. Total contract with additional work added to contract via modifications was completed in 180 days.
