Construction Services: Seismic Reinforcements

SCOPE OF SERVICES

Provide construction services for a 14,090 SF (approx.) Waterfront Security Force Facility (WSFF) within the NSB Kings Bay, GA waterfront restricted area (WRA). The building is expected to support a 52-man security force per shift for three shifts per day seven days a week and provide parking for six (6) Armored Fighting Vehicles (AFV). The facility will be a two-story, ballistic-hardened, reinforced concrete structure, concrete exterior walls, and a reinforced concrete roof. Site improvements will include parking, sidewalks, access roads, and paving. Built-in equipment will include complete galley equipment outfitting and ventilation equipment for the AFV garage. Special construction features include: seismic reinforcement, and strengthening the roof to allow installation of fighting positions and automatic weapons mounts.
