Project Description
Five story Air Traffic Control Tower with a single story Radar and Air Traffic Control Facility (RATCF). Demolition of one of the vacated facilities was completed eight months after construction of new facility after the Government relocated existing equipment into the new facility. The new tower provides accommodations for future SPAWAR and tower roof-mounted equipment. Removal of existing control tower cab and repairing the opening was completed after commissioning the facility. Facility included Air OPS Equipment, administrative, and training areas. Harry Pepper & Associates also provided emergency generator, UPS, HVAC systems, and electrical systems and raised access flooring in ATCT & RATCF structures.
